 HOW TO JOIN
Austria ACOnet(6.1A)In order to become a member of the ACOnet Identity Federation an organization formally applies for membership. Detailed information and application forms are published on the ACOnet Identity Federation website. For Identity Providers the membership application SHOULD include an Identity Management Practice Statement. (6.1B) The ACOnet Identity Federation operations team evaluates each membership application, including (if applicable) the Identity Management Practice Statement. The evaluation process involves checking, if the applying organization fulfills the requirements of the ACOnet Identity Federation policy.(6.1C) The ACOnet Identity Federation operations team communicates acceptance or denial of the membership application to the applying organization in written form, including the reason for denying the application (if applicable).

Sweden SWAMID(4.3B)An organisation becomes a Member of SWAMID by applying for membership according to the process described in this document. If the application is accepted by the Board of Trustees, the organisation becomes a Member by signing the SWAMID membership agreement. (6.1B)Each membership application including (if applicable) the Identity Management Practice Statement is evaluated by the SWAMID Operations Team. The evaluation process involves checking if the applying organisation fulfills the requirements of the SWAMID Policy. The SWAMID Operations Team presents a recommendation for membership with an evaluation report to the SWAMID Board of Trustees who in turn decides on whether to grant or deny the application. (6.1C)If the application is granted, the SWAMID Operations Team presents a membership agreement to the applying organisation for signing by an official representative of the organisation. If the application is denied, this decision and the reason for denying the application is communicated to the applying organisation by the SWAMID Operations Team.

US - InCommon1C. InCommon accepts applications from organizations that are potential Participants in the Federation, as defined in the FOPP, and provides the Federation services to Participants ("InCommon Participants") under the terms and conditions of this Agreement. . 4a. Classes of Participants. InCommon defines, and may change from time to time, different classes of InCommon Participants. Different classes may receive different services, may have different roles in InCommon activities, and may be liable for different fees and/or dues. Currently defined classes are Higher Education Institutions, Sponsored Partners, and Research Organizations (as defined in the FOPP). 18. The following person has been designated as the InCommon Executive for Participant regarding InCommon Participation. This Participant Executive represents Participant regarding all decisions and delegations of authority for the responsibilities of InCommon Participants, including but not limited to payment of invoices, and assigning any person in the trusted Administrator role who submits Certificate Signing Requests, metadata, or Certificate Revocation Requests, and other administrative duties as described herein 22. This Agreement becomes effective when signed by an officer of each party empowered to enter into legally binding contracts on behalf of their respective organizations.
