- 1-9-2015: Met WP29 egovernment subgroup in Brussels
- 3-12-2015: Met WP29 members who adviced us to refine the Code of Conduct to answer to the question "how?" (notes)
- 4-5-2016: EU published the General Data Protection Regulation (link)
- 12-6-2016: REFEDS approved the approach that GEANT project develops a new Code of Conduct ver 2.0 which covers also GDPR (slides)
- 15-11-2016: informal teleconference with WP29 representatives; received early comments on the first draft of 2.0
