Versioning
Versioning shall be based on the principles of semantic versioning. For existing specifications, any new releases will conform to the following style of version numbering.
- MAJOR version when you make incompatible specification changes,
- MINOR version when you make changes in a backward-compatible manner, and
- PATCH version when you make backward-compatible editorial fixes (e.g., updating URLs in references).
